Minne Lussa is a dream pop / shoegaze band formed in 2018 from the shards of various punk rock, indie, and experimental bands. From an initial instrumental sound that incorporated huge spaces and arid sun-drenched melodies, the band’s sound continues to evolve. Obscure, floating, rapturous vocal harmonies mesh with layered guitars, bass and drums creating oceanic daydreams -- the sonic equivalent of astral projection. Described as five musicians traveling at their own speeds, but arriving at the musical destination as one body, the band’s sound is sweet, slow, melancholy, and brutal – often all at the same time.
